Before volunteering, please complete the FCPS Volunteer application. To ensure the safety of students and staff, FCPS has launched a new centralized volunteer-management system. All volunteers and chaperones, regardless of level, must complete the online registration.
All volunteers are also still required to sign in using the visitor kiosk in the front office. Please reach out to our Assistant Principal Leanne Pinski with any questions.

Help us show our amazing Groveton staff how much they're appreciated! This year, we're continuing our goal of providing a staff meal at the end of each quarter, but we need your help to make it happen.
Donate an entrée, side (or dessert), help with setup or cleanup or reach out to local businesses to request food/gift card donations.
Every volunteer and every donation helps us thank our incredible staff!

Thanks to Regal Kingstowne's generous support, our monthly Attendance Award Popcorn Party has become a favorite tradition for students and we need your help to keep it popping!
Parent volunteers help scoop, bag and deliver more than 600 bags of popcorn to students in grades K–6 each month as a reward for good attendance.
Volunteers are needed one morning each month. Whether you can help for the entire shift or just 10 minutes, every extra set of hands makes a big difference.

Comparable to a "Room Parent," our Grade-Level Parents partner with a designated teacher to create unique volunteer opportunities and experiences for their child's entire grade!
Past activities include:
volunteer parents as lunch monitors
holiday and end-of year celebration volunteers
grade tie-dye event volunteers
collection/donation of extra cold/flu season supplies
themed raffle baskets, donated on behalf of the grade level, as Blizzard Bingo prizes
Grade-Level Parents also help communicate information from the PTA to other parents at a grassroots level.

A family-created group, the AAP Support Group aids Groveton’s advanced academic opportunities and builds a network for families whose students are receiving Advanced Academic Program (AAP) services.
The group has various volunteer opportunities throughout the year and is looking for new ideas to remain active and successful!
Any questions about Groveton’s Advanced Academic services may be directed to our Advanced Academics Resource Teacher Sheliah Gotha.
