We're excited to share that International Night (previously held in May) is moving to December 4 and will have a special holiday twist!
What to expect?
Tables will showcase how different cultures celebrate the holidays and welcome the New Year, highlighting the traditions, customs and festivities that make Groveton special.
Who can participate?
We're looking for families, community members and staff to host a table or contribute to the potluck meal to share their culture, traditions and holiday celebrations.
Get involved!
More details about participation, table hosts and volunteer opportunities will be shared soon!
Our Goal: Raise $3,500 for Groveton Elementary!
This year, we're looking to help the school with a few outdoor enhancements. Funds raised at Tiger Family Soccer Fest can help support this effort, with primary priorities including:
Basketball Court Restriping: Giving our kids crisp lines for competitive basketball games.
Vibrant Asphalt Obstacle Courses: Custom-painted interactive paths to keep our K-6 students moving and active during recess.
New Sports Gear: Replacing worn-out equipment.
Here are two ways to help!
Before volunteering, please complete the FCPS Volunteer application. To ensure the safety of students and staff, FCPS has launched a new centralized volunteer-management system. All volunteers and chaperones, regardless of level, must complete the online registration.
Cash or credit card will be accepted for all concessions and spirit wear.
Since parking at the school is limited, we encourage our families to carpool, walk, or park on Groveton Road and use the crosswalk on Harrison Lane.
